Golf: Blow up of the year!!! (maybe decade for me)

So my first round of the year was a roaring success for me, with a final score of 79.
My second round, not so much. Front 9 I always seemed to be just one away from a par. Finally, back 9 I start hitting them with 4 pars in a row. Then there’s hole 16, a par 3. I put my tee shot on the green, looking good. Long putt, up a sideways slope. I didn’t hold the side slope, role off the green, down the hill side, 20 meters away from the pin. I hit it just to back of green. Chip again, hit the slope again, down the hill side, 20 meters away. Anyway, so I was on that par 3 in 1, and ended up with an 8. Recovered well for 17 with a par, but when my drive went into the trees twice on 18, I pretty much gave up, ending in an 11.
Now understand, when I say it rolled 20 meter down the hill side, these were not blasted putts or bladed chips. This was a very scary placed pin, where if you went that one extra inch too far, you ended up 20 meters too far.
