If you saw American Idol last week, maybe you saw the 62 year old, General Larry Platt’s audition. His audition consisted of his own composition titled “Pants on the Ground”. He was obviously rejected, for one thing, AI has a age limit of 62. But his song has gained internet notoriety, so much so that Jimmy Fallon did a remake of it on his show, performing it as if he were Neil Young. Check it out!

Or view the General’s actual audition.

I really loved the final 5 Idol group medley last night. It was a pity to see Aaron Kelly removed however I do think the other contestants were better so he needed to go!

Yep, I think Casey is next. Then maybe Mike. Going to come down to Mommysox and Lee I think. :)

  3. I see American Idol winner Lee has recently signed up to RCA records. I can’t wait to hear his upcoming album.

I believe Donald Trump would be a much better American Idol judge than Harry Connick Jr. – Trump isn’t at all afraid to voice what he thinks and can be as outspoken as Simon Cowell.
