End of an era, sorta. Our dart team has played out of Billy Macs for the last 3 or 4 years, but this year a couple of our members suggested looking into another place. I won’t go into the details of why, sufficient to say, Billy Macs is a great place to play out of, but Wednesday night there had its own unique issues for our team personally.

Also, one of our regulars, unsure about his availability due to work, has dropped back to sub status. Would have been nice to keep the original team flying high after last years 1st place finish. That said, we have a very capable replacement stepping up to take his place as the fourth member of our team, “Blame it on the Beer“.

So, where will we be playing out of this year …. none other than Whiskey Bones. We decided to check it out as they were located closer to a few of our member’s homes. And once we did, they made us a very good offer. Including:

• Full Sponsorship into either the D’N'R Star or State Tournament
• Team shirts, with our own team name and logo
• Super Bowl Party with open bar, just for staff and sponsored teams

So, all is left is for us to step up and perform, try to go for a repeat victory this year. I’ll try to keep the site updated with our scores and standings. No promises, cause dart night is usually our main night out. So if I don’t always update the scores you can, as our team name implies, “Blame it on the Beer“.
