Birthday Bash
August 2 | Posted by Geoff | BlogsHappy Birthday Dennis! Today he turns the big 4-0! Dana threw him a surprise birthday party yesterday. A few of us were in charge of getting him out of the house for a few hours, so we invited him to go golfing at noon. (Nick and I took Dennis and Dave on in skins and won 15 to 3. Lucky we decided to play skins, cause if we would have played strokes, we would have lost. Nick 120, Geoff 91 for total of 211. Dennis 92, Dave 109 for total of 201.) Anyway, when he got home, all his family and friends were in the back yard with a couple of tents set up, tables out, a keg, food, cake, pool room all good to go. It was a grand ole time, with conversation, jokes, pool, arcade, food, beer and more. I must say, it was good to see the Rug back up and running. I use to live with Dennis, there is a Room Under the Garage (RUG) that has a bar, arcade game (Dennis built it himself) and pool table.
Another friend, Christy, her birthday was actually that day. Happy Birthday again Christy! (She’s not the big 4-0 yet) So around 10:30 we leave Dennis’ Party and head downtown for some more drinks and some dancing. Great time the whole night. Hope everyone is not too hungover today.
