Bags: Category: Bean Bags

Through 2007 & 2008 a friend(Nick) and myself played bean bags out of the local bar, Billy Macs. We were lucky enough to win the league both years, and could have tried for a three-peat if we had played again this year. However, thanks to current finances, when time came to sign up, I decided it would be better to conserve my funds and not participate.

A few weeks later, while I was realizing how much I missed playing, another friend of mine(Dave) mentioned that a league was starting up at a separate bar, Boomers. It was cheaper, I really missed playing and I liked our chances of doing well, so we decided to sign up.

This second league is a little different. At Billy Macs, each match consists of 5 games, and standings are based off of total points across those games. Boomers, each match consists of 7 games, and standings are based strictly on games won. I really enjoyed playing at Billy Macs, and only went to this new league after Billy Macs league had already begun, I realized how much I missed playing and that it was cheaper. So far though, Boomers has been a fun league as well.

I will be using ‘Bean Bags’ category to update our scores each week and track how we are doing through out the season. Also a good place to jot down any other bean bag related outings.
