Naive is the best thing a person can be.
Blind to the hurt, tomorrow may hold.
Deaf to the lies, they have been told.
Filled with a trust, we all wish to achieve.
Free of the fear, because they truly believe.
In the game of love, they’ll bet on queen high.
They might not win, but at least they try.
So don’t be naive, I ask you why not?
Without naivete, what have you got?
You got your pride, for you’re the man.
Why play the game, if you might lose a hand?
No you’re too smart, you’re no fool.
Only fools fall in love, and you’re too damn cool!
