She Sits (by Kendra Slade)
June 25 | Posted by Wilson | Wilson's WritingsShe sits staring, dreaming,
lost in her own reality.
Overwhelmed, marveled in total awe
at the finger print of God’s creativity.
Her astonished eyes are directed at the designs above,
the sun winning a glorious duel.
Mesmerized at the white patterns, floating
across a tapestry of sea blue.
She sits transfixed by it’s powerful spell of
majestic wonder and beauty.
Amazed at the masterpiece, picture
perfect of God’s artistry.
She questions why humanity could take
for granted or deny such perfection.
When the reason of it’s existence is to
unearth the beauty of God’s affection.

I just happened to stumble into this site and my heart raced seeing these poems. I wrote these over ten years ago when I was in Bible College in Ont. How did you get them? I do not even have copies anymore because I moved so many times…..I am sitting here in total shock. Showing my co workers…..just in total wow…
Kendra, this is Geoff. You know how I got them. We went back and forth with the “She Sits”, “He Sits” poems. I hope all is well. Take care. Sorry for the slow reply, I haven’t been very good at keeping this site up-to-date.
